For Castle Shannon residents and businesses, our emergency services crews responded to several wire down calls and tree/branches down during the storm on Tuesday evening.
Compared to other neighboring communities, we consider our damage to be relatively low.
We will work with Allegheny County Emergency Management Officials to conduct damage assessment in the coming days and weeks.
In an effort to accurately capture damage reports and power outages, please email information affecting your homes and businesses to info@csboro.com.
Of course, all officials realize the frustration that comes with power outages and difficulty in reaching utilities and other responding agencies.
Please report emergencies to 911.
Please check on elderly and disabled neighbors.
Together we will adapt and overcome this situation.
Your patience and understanding will go a long way to helping us.
