28 YEAR OLD MALE DIES IN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT
On Saturday October 5, 2024 at approximately 0650 in the morning, the Town of Crawford Police Department responded to a report of a motorcycle accident on State Route 302 just south of the intersection with State Route 17K.
Stephen Montgomery, 28 of Pine Bush was operating a 2016 Harley Davidson Motorcycle southbound on State Route 302 when a deer crossed his path causing a collision. Montgomery’s motorcycle did continue down the roadway, striking a pvc pipe.
Montgomery was transported to Garnet Medical Center by Pine Bush Ambulance where he died from his injuries.
Bullville Fire Department and the New York State Police assisted at the scene.
