The Brighton Police Department is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of our dedicated officers and community members at our 2025 Awards Banquet. The Excellent Police Service Award was presented to multiple Officers.

The Excellent Police Service Award may be presented to a member of the Brighton Police Department who performs:

• Highly creditable acts of police service over a period of time, or
• An intelligent act materially contributing to a valuable accomplishment, or
• Submission of a device or method designed to increase efficiency in an administrative or tactical procedure and subsequently adopted by the department, or
• Outstanding proactive police work

This year, we are honored to present the Excellent Police Service Award to the following individuals:

• Officer David Keirsbilck
• Officer Zachary Hoag
• Officer Joshua Sahr
• Lieutenant Keith Woodard

The Brighton Police Department would also like to recognize a therapist with Monroe County's Forensic Intervention Team (FIT), Suzanne McNair, who received the Citizen Award.
