As we head into the holiday season, the Thomasville Police Department wants to help keep you and your property safe. We have recently seen an uptick in vehicle breakings and enterings throughout the city. Many of these incidents involve unlocked vehicles or valuables left in plain sight.
The Thomasville Police Department is committed to proactive policing and community partnership. Our policy emphasizes crime prevention through visibility, education, and collaboration with our residents.
Please remember to Lock It, Hide It, Take It!
Lock your vehicle every time, even at home.
Hide items such as bags, wallets, firearms, electronics, and gifts.
Take your keys and remove anything that could tempt a thief.
If you see suspicious activity—no matter how small—please report it immediately to our non-emergency line at 336-475-4260 or dial 911 in an emergency. Together, we can reduce crime and keep Thomasville safe this season.
A huge thank-you to the many vigilant community members who continue to look out for their neighbors and report suspicious behavior. Your awareness makes a real difference!
