Important Traffic Update: One Way Streets on 74th and 73rd Avenues

As of June 23, 2025, new signs have been installed on 74th Avenue and 73rd Avenue, indicating that these streets are now One Way only. Please be aware of the following changes:

• 74th Avenue is now northbound only.
• 73rd Avenue is now southbound only.

During the next two weeks, officers will be conducting traffic stops to educate the public about this change and to ensure a smooth transition. Motorists who violate the new traffic pattern will be stopped and informed about the change.

However, if an individual has previously been given a warning and continues to drive in the wrong direction, they may be subject to full enforcement of the traffic laws.

This change applies to the section of 74th and 73rd Avenues between Archer Avenue and 59th Street. We urge all drivers to exercise caution and follow the new traffic pattern to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
