The DeLand Police Department would like to thank a generous community member for donating more than a hundred teddy bears to our department.

George Denison, a part-time DeLand resident, stopped by DPD to make the delivery and was greeted by our Community Engagement Unit and Chief Jason Umberger.

The stuffed bears, with custom DeLand Police Department shirts, will be distributed by officers to children around our community.
