(DeLand, Florida) – The DeLand Police Department is proud to announce the promotion of two DeLand police officers along with other employee achievements. 

Sergeant Jean Casseus has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and is assigned to the Personnel Selection and Training Division. Officer Stephanie Nelson, who is assigned to the Motor Unit, has been promoted to the rank of Corporal. 

Cpl. Lamar Phillips was selected as Officer of the Quarter and Quartermaster Brian Roberts as Civilian of the Quarter. Congratulations to all on your achievements.
