The DeLand Police Department, working with law enforcement partners in Lake County, arrested a second individual Friday morning  around 6:49 a.m. in connection with a double homicide investigation.

Daytron W. Etkins, (41, Eustis), the father of Keyan Rundell, was taken into custody at his residence on charges of felony accessory after the fact. Investigators also executed a search warrant at the Bates Avenue residence as part of the investigation.

Investigators developed probable cause alleging that Etkins knowingly assisted his son after the homicides and took steps intended to help him evade law enforcement.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. Additional information will be released when available.
