Edith I. Starke Elementary proudly concludes our 10-week D.A.R.E. program for this school year with our amazing 5th grade students this week!

D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) teaches students how to make safe and responsible choices, resist drugs and alcohol, and handle peer pressure with confidence.

Today, Officer Muller wrapped up his class with fun vocabulary practice and basketball free throws for students who answered correctly, making learning both engaging and memorable!

We extend a special thank you to the DeLand Police Department, Officer Muller, and Officer Pasley for dedicating their time to mentor and educate our students. Your commitment to our school and community is greatly appreciated!
