On Friday October 28, 2022, DeLand Police Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of South Woodland Blvd. in reference to a suspicious incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased white female identified as Vawn Burgos DOB 5.27.1984 (38yoa). The cause of death does not appear to be suspicious in nature. This investigation is open and active, pending Medical Examination report.

The next of kin has been notified.
