When unused prescription drugs fall into the wrong hands, a helpful medication often becomes dangerous and even tragic.

Here’s how YOU can help DeLand Police “takeback” unused Rx drugs.

• Clean out any medicine cabinets
• Collect outdated, unwanted or no longer needed prescription medications
• On Saturday, April 25, drop off those old medications at the DeLand Police Department, 219 W. Howry Avenue, in the front parking lot, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
