The St. Johns Police Department would like to alert the public to a recent report of fake $100.00 bills being circulated in our community. These counterfeit bills are clearly marked "MOVIE PROP ONLY" and are not legitimate tender.

We urge all businesses and individuals to exercise caution when accepting large bills. Please take a moment to verify the authenticity of any bill before accepting it as payment. This simple step can help prevent financial loss and protect our community from scams.
