Plan for Daytime Delays along US 180, US 191 in St. Johns Starting September 15

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is set to begin a pavement rehabilitation project along US 180 (Cleveland Street) and US 191 (Commercial Street) in St. Johns on September 15. The 2-mile-long project, which is expected to be completed by fall, will improve the driving surface and enhance pedestrian safety.

Motorists can expect daytime delays and lane restrictions during construction. US 180 will be reduced to one lane in each direction, while US 191 will be reduced to one lane with alternating north- and southbound travel at the Little Colorado River Bridge. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct traffic through the work zone.

Residents and business owners can expect maintained access during construction. However, drivers should plan for frequent stops, extra travel time, and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through the work zone.
