On 3/9/19 at approximately 11:00 pm the Columbia Borough Police Department was dispatched to the 300 Block of Linden Street for a hit and run accident.  Upon arrival the Officers found only one vehicle.  The other vehicle, a black Jeep Cherokee, had left the scene.  A short time later the Columbia Borough Police Department received a call that a black Jeep Cherokee was seen driving recklessly on Route 441.  The Officer stopped the Jeep and spoke with the driver, Holly A. Goldsborough, 48, of Columbia, who was visibly intoxicated and unable to stand on her own.  The Officer placed Goldsborough into his vehicle and transported her to the police station for processing.  Several sobriety tests were given and failed.  After a few hours Goldsborough began to sober up and was notified that she would receive charges for driving under the influence in the mail.  She was transported to her home.  Goldsborough is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
