Police Incident from 12/22/18 thru 1/11/19

PUBLIC DRUNK: On 12-22-18 police responded to Turkey Hill, 23 Centerville Rd for a complaint of a male stumbling into traffic.  Following investigation Douglas Givler (51) of Lancaster was cited with Public Drunkenness (S).

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On 12-25-18 at 1620 hours police responded to the 2000 block of Swarr Run Rd for a reported suspicious activity.  Following investigation, Kevin Kendig (28) of Willow Street was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and charged with Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M).  Kendig was also found to have a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and was transported and turned over to Lancaster County Prison.

HARASSMENT: On 12-29-18 police responded to the 400 block of Running Pump Rd for a reported disturbance.  Following investigation, Kevin Reyes-Molina (28) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S).

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 12-30-18 at 2331 hours officers responded to Route 283 West in the area of mile marker 26.0 for a single vehicle crash.  Following investigation, Ray Ober III (46) of Landisville was charged with DUI (M), Possession of Marijuana (M) and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

ROBBERY: On 1-3-19 Brian Conrad Jr (37) of Columbia was charged with Robbery (F1) and Theft by Unlawful Taking (M2) for the robbery at Speedway, 1660 Rohrerstown Rd, on 12-21-18 at 0334 hours.  Conrad is alleged to have robbed convenience stores from 12-21-18 to 12-29-18 throughout Lancaster County and will face charges from multiple police departments to include West Earl Township PD, West Hempfield Township PD, East Lampeter Township PD, Mount Joy Boro PD and Pequea Township PD.

THEFT:  On 1-4-19 police were contacted by the victim of a theft in the 1300 block of Sylvan Rd.  Sometime between 12-24-18 and 1-2-19 (1) delivery package containing (1) sweater valued at $40.00 was removed from the property.

THEFT: On 1-4-19 police responded to Lowes parking lot, 25 Rohrerstown Rd, for a stolen license plate report.  The victim’s license plate was forcibly removed from his vehicle damaging the trunk, where the license plate is mounted.  Estimated damage $300.00. 

HARASSMENT: On 1-4-19 police responded to the 2300 block of Columbia Ave for a domestic disturbance.  Following investigation, Moises Alvarez (33) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S).

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 1-5-19 Carlos Ortiz-Ramirez (34) of Lancaster was charged with 2 counts of DUI (M) stemming from a traffic stop 1-5-19 at 0405 hours in the 500 block of Centerville Rd.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 1-7-19 police responded to Security Self Storage, 1501 Cloister Dr, for a reported theft from vehicle.  The victim reported (2) truck batteries with estimated value of $500.00 were removed from the vehicle.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1-9-19 Christopher Ortega (30) of Ephrata was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M) and Driving While Operating Privilege Suspended or Revoked (4th or Subsequent Offense) (M1), stemming from a routine traffic stop in the 800 block of Stonebridge Dr on 1-7-19 at 2222 hours.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 1-10-19 at 1132 hours police responded to the Day’s Inn, 2929 Hempland Rd, for reported drug activity.  Following investigation, Michael Fulmer (28) of Columbia was located at McDonald’s, 311 Centerville Rd.  Fulmer was found to have numerous Felony Warrants out of York County and was transported and turned over to a York County Constable.  Fulmer’s companion, Kathryn Kellachow (25) of Hummelstown, was found to have two active warrants, one out of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and one through York County.  Kellachow was transported to the Lancaster County Court House and turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

BURGLARY: On 1-10-19 police responded to Hammertek, 301 Richardson Dr, for a reported burglary.  Sometime between 1-6-19 and 1-10-19 actor(s) forcibly entered the building through a garage door and removed a Dynasty miller tig welder valued at $7,413.26.

CHILD PORNOGRAPHY: On 1-11-19 a 17-year-old male of Manheim was charged with (1) count Child Pornography (F2), (1) count Child Pornography (F3) and (2) counts of Criminal Use of Communication Facility (F3), following an investigation that began with the execution of a search warrant by the Lancaster County Computer Crimes Task Force in the 1500 block of Lititz Rd in February of 2018.
