Vehicle Crash

Details Map

On Sat. November 3, 2018 at 9:30am, Ephrata Police responded to a crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of North Reading Rd. (Rt 272) and Martin Ave. in Ephrata Borough. A Jeep Liberty driven by Bernard Stiffler, 54, of Lititz, failed to stop for a steady red traffic signal, and was struck by a Scion XA driven by Linda Martin, 73, of Ephrata. Martin was transported to Ephrata Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Lincoln Fire Company and Ephrata Ambulance assisted with the crash. Part of the roadway was closed for approximately 45 minutes. A traffic signal pole was also damaged in the crash.
