Dustin J. Hirneisen M/36 of Ephrata was arrested for Public Intoxication following a disturbance call in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue, Ephrata.   

A citizen called police around 1010pm on Monday evening 10-08-18 to report a suspicious male acting strange and on their front porch.   The male was not wearing shoes and was asking odd questions of the citizen and acting in a strange manner.    The male reportedly went to another neighboring house and was apparently quickly turned away.   Police found the male, Dustin Hirneisen wondering around the 100 Block of Washington Avenue, confused, not coherent, not wearing shoes and uncertain as to his whereabouts, although he was staying a block away from where he was found.     Hirneisen was cited for Public Intoxication held a short time and released.   Hirneisen eventually was taken to local hospital due to his condition.
