Ephrata Police filed Simple Assault and Harassment charges against Richard J. Copenhaver III M/23 of Marietta, PA following the report on 6-8-18 from a female involving an alleged assault.   The female sustained injuries as a result of the incident.    

Copenhaver was not immediately located;  however with the assistance of Manheim Borough Police, Copenhaver was located on 6-9-18 at approximately 1000hrs by Manheim Boro. PD at an address on Main Street in Manheim Borough.  

Copenhaver was turned over to the Ephrata Police where he was taken to the Lancaster County Central Arraignment on 6-9-18 for the Simple Assault and Harassment charges.   Copenhaver failed to post $75,000.00 cash bail and was committed to the Lancaster County Prison.
