Ephrata Police responded to a disturbance in progress in the 200 Block of Hahnstown Rd, Ephrata Township Sunday night 5-27-18 around 1125pm involving a male and female.    Upon arrival the female reported she was assaulted by a male, 27 yr old Howard G. Knight III who fled the scene prior to police arrival.   The female sustained facial injuries as a result of the incident but refused medical treatment.   While the police were on scene investigating the incident, Howard Knight III returned and was subsequently arrested and charged with simple assault.   

Knight was taken to Lancaster County Central Arrangement to be arraigned on the Simple Assault charge.
