On 5/24/18 at 2311hrs, Ephrata Police responded to a vehicle accident in the 1700 Block of Lincoln Gardens Rd. in Ephrata Township. The investigation revealed a Ford Mustang driven by Paul Lukridge, 43, of Ephrata, drove off the right side of the road way and struck a utility pole. Lukridge was not injured in the accident. Electric power was lost in the area due to the accident. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. Lukridge was taken into custody during a DUI investigation and a blood alcohol level test revealed his BAC at the time was .184. Lukridge was released and will receive a summons for DUI charges.
