Ephrata Police have filed Harassment and Disorderly Conduct charges against Henry Martin, age 83, of Reinholds, following a report of unwanted physical contact between Martin and a 15 year old female. The incident occurred on 5/4/18 in the parking lot of a business in the 900 block of N. State St in Ephrata Township. The victim was in the uncrowded parking lot with a friend and the friend’s mother when Martin approached the juvenile and drew his hand across the victim’s buttocks. Martin was unknown to the victim and witnesses but was identified on scene by police who responded to the incident immediately. Martin will receive a summons for the charges. Martin is presumed innocent.
