Ephrata Police on 12-19-17 at approximately 0725hrs received a call from a female who lives in the first block of Gross Street regarding a male knocking at her door.   The female reported she has a Protection From Abuse Order issued by the Lancaster County Court in effect against the male barring him from having any contact with her.    

Ephrata Police arrived to find, Ramon Rosario M/53 of Lancaster sitting on the porch next to the female callers house.   Rosario was arrested for a violation of the Protection Order that was issued in October 2017.   Rosario was taken before MDJ Russell charged with Indirect Criminal Contempt for violation of an order issued by Lancaster County Court.   MDJ Russell arraigned Rosario on the contempt charge and released him on unsecured bail.
