On June 2, 2017, the first annual B.A.N. event took place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Buckingham. The event brought together B.A.N. volunteers, who work to prevent addiction. These experts in addiction, health, treatment, and identification of drug related issues, were on hand to answer questions. This event corresponded with the end of the school year, in order to remove household drugs in time for student's summer vacations. The Buckingham Police Department collected a large amount of household drugs that will never be ingested by our residents. This alone made this event a success. Many addictions start with experimental use of household medications, so it is imperative to rid our homes of drugs.
Residents are encouraged to utilize e-mail to forward confidential questions to our advisory network: buckinghamadvisorynetwork@gmail.com
