On July 9, 2026, the Ephrata Police Department Investigation Sections filed charges against Mark Andrew Taylor, 57, of Ephrata, for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. As a lifetime registrant under Megan's Law, Taylor failed to appear for a mandatory verification meeting with the Pennsylvania State Police. Currently, Taylor's location is unknown, and he is considered an absconder. He may have ties to Martinsburg, West Virginia. 

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
