SERGEANT QUINTER ANSWERS THE QUESTION - WHY WE RIDE!!!!

Between July 20–22, Sergeant Kevin Quinter will embark on an approximately 350-mile bicycle ride from Ludwigsburg, Germany, to Bergamo, Italy, alongside Achim Dieterich, Chief Inspector with the Ludwigsburg Police Department.

Supported by the International Police Association (I.P.A.), Kevin and Achim are riding to raise funds for the Police Foundation of Baden-Württemberg. Their journey represents a powerful message: Cohesion Beyond Borders.

When asked why a police officer from Pennsylvania would travel across the Atlantic for this challenge, Kevin shared:

"People ask me why an officer from Pennsylvania would fly across an ocean to ride through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. The answer is simple: this job doesn't stop at a border, and neither does the loss that comes with it.

Achim and I started this ride to stand with police officers and their families in countries most Americans never connect to our own. The uniforms are different. The languages are different. The risks are the same.

Every statistic represents a family waiting by the phone, an empty chair at the dinner table, and loved ones forever changed. Police officers everywhere share the same commitment to serving their communities, and we wanted to make sure the sacrifices of the fallen, the injured, and their families are never forgotten.

I've spent 18 years in law enforcement, much of it serving warrants and investigating human trafficking and child exploitation cases. I've experienced firsthand how dangerous this profession can be. This ride isn't about politics—it's about honoring those who serve and the families who sacrifice alongside them."

We are incredibly proud of Sergeant Quinter for taking on this demanding challenge in support of law enforcement officers and their families around the world.

Please join us in wishing Kevin a safe ride and the very best of luck as he takes part in this meaningful journey. We look forward to following his progress and celebrating this remarkable effort.
