The Trainer Borough Police Department announces the arrest of 28-year-old Zitear Wilson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in connection with the burglary of a local funeral home.
On Monday, June 22, 2026, at approximately 3:57 p.m., officers responded to an incident at John's Funeral Services after receiving initial information that led officers to locate a suspect vehicle. During the investigation, officers determined the incident involved the burglary of the funeral home. The suspect vehicle was located on Interstate 95, and Wilson was taken into custody without incident.
The investigation determined that Wilson unlawfully entered a secured area of the funeral home and removed two church trucks. The stolen property, valued at approximately $2,000, was recovered and returned to the business.
Wilson was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property.
