The Borough of Wyomissing will be celebrating the 4^th of July and America's 250th anniversary with several events.  There will be a moonlight swim at the borough swimming pool on Thursday July 2nd from 8 PM – 10 PM.  On Friday July 3rd there will be fireworks at the Wyomissing pool beginning at 10 PM.  Parking will be restricted around the pool on Evans Ave., Parkside Drive North and Old Mill Road beginning at 8 PM until the conclusion of the fireworks. The Wyomissing 4th of July Parade will be held Saturday, July 4th, starting at 10 A M.  This event will cause numerous no parking restrictions beginning at 7 A M along the parade route, see attached map of the parade route through the borough. Restrictions will be in place from 7 A M until the parade concludes around 12 P M.  The rain date for the fireworks is scheduled for Monday July 6^th, the parade is scheduled for Sunday July 5th. at 12:00 PM.  Additional information can be located on the Wyomissing Borough Park and Recreation website.  We hope you join us in celebrating our nation's 250th Anniversary.
