The Ephrata Police Department arrested, Frank Miller Jr., 69, of Ephrata for Simple Assault related to domestic violence. On 06/05/2026 at 7:33 p.m., Ephrata Police responded to the 200 block of Akron Road, Ephrata Township for check on the welfare due to a possible domestic related assault. Officer on scene met with the victim who had a laceration on her face from being struck. Miller Jr. was arrested and transported to Lancaster County Prison for arraignment. On 06/06/2026, Miller Jr. was arraigned by MDJ Richardson and released on $1,000 unsecured bail. 

Miller Jr. is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
