Looking for a memorable way to spend your 4th of July? Look no further! The Columbia Police Department invites you to join us at Glatfelter Memorial Field on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for an evening of community fun, family activities, and celebration!

Meet our dedicated officers, ask questions, and get to know the team that works tirelessly to keep our community safe. Be amazed by a live K9 demonstration featuring our friends from Manheim Township Police Department and their skilled canine officer.

To commemorate Columbia's historic 300th anniversary, the CBPD will be selling special 300th-anniversary T-shirts, with all proceeds going towards the department's new Officer Wellness Center.

Additionally, we're kicking off our annual Breast Cancer Awareness and Research fundraising campaign, which will run through October. Unique, limited-edition CBPD Pink Patches and custom keychains will be available for purchase.

Event Details:

• When: Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Fireworks begin at dusk, approximately 9:00 PM).
• Where: Glatfelter Memorial Field, 1249 Lancaster Ave., Columbia, PA.
• Admission: Free and open to the public.

Evening Highlights:

• Live Music: Enjoy a pre-fireworks performance by PopScotch from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
• Family & Community Fun: Free hot dogs, water, and chips, plus a dunk tank, Kona Ice, and more.
• K9 Demonstration: Meet our officers and see a Police K9 team in action. The demonstration will start promptly at 6 PM.
• Charity Merchandise: Purchase your Columbia 300 T-shirts (benefiting the Wellness Center) and Pink Patches/Keychains (benefiting breast cancer research).
