On Sunday, March 26, 2017 at approximately 3:40 PM, Ephrata Police responded to the Turkey Hill Mini Market at 4 Hahnstown Rd. in Ephrata Township for a report of a vehicle which had driven through a fence and over an embankment. Police arrived to find that a Ford f-250 driven by Daniel A. Eshleman, 30, of Manheim, had crashed over a curb, through a chainlink fence and off an approximately 8 foot high retaining wall. Investigation lead police to arrest Mr. Eshleman on an outstanding theft warrant through Lancaster County. Eshleman was also subsequently charged with DUI(controlled substance) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Eshleman was turned over to the Lancaster Sheriff's Dept.
