Today, the North Charleston Police Department family proudly welcomed two new officers to our team. Associate Chief Angela Johnson led the swearing-in ceremony for Officers Brianna Slark and Eric Ellis as they officially began their service with NCPD.

A special moment during the ceremony came when Officer Ellis’ wife had the honor of pinning his badge while their children looked on. Officer Ellis then returned the honor by pinning Officer Slark’s badge.

We are excited to welcome both officers to our agency and look forward to the contributions they will make as we continue our mission of keeping the City of North Charleston a safe place to live, work, and play.
