On June 10th, 2026 at 2330 hours, the Bloomsburg Police Department was requested to check on the welfare of an individual reported to be near the skate park. A short time later, Officer Edgar discovered the subject's vehicle parked on Market Street near the park. Officer Edgar identified the vehicle's occupant as Braydon Frey who was seated inside. While interacting with Frey, Officer Edgar and Officer Shampanore observed controlled substances in the vehicle. While interacting with Frey, Officers observed he was under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances. After repeated commands to exit the vehicle, Frey placed his vehicle in reverse nearly striking a police cruiser, and fled north on Market Street. Officers briefly pursued Frey but ultimately terminated the pursuit due to several safety concerns for Frey, the public and Officers. A short time later, Officers observed Frey in the area of 5th and East Streets fleeing on foot and scaling fences. After a brief foot pursuit, Frey was taken into custody. Upon searching Frey, he was found to be in possession of suspected Cocaine. Frey was taken to GMC where he was processed for DUI. Frey's vehicle was later located in the general vicinity and impounded. A search warrant yielded additional Cocaine inside Frey's vehicle.

Frey was housed in Columbia County Prison on charges of Fleeing and Eluding, DUI and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
