Lycoming Regional Police and their Mental Health Co-Responder Partner engaged with the Cummings Township community on May 2nd and 3rd. The highlight of the event was interacting with local residents, especially the kids, who received bracelets, badges, and rubber ducks at the Sawdust Festival hosted by Waterville Volunteer Fire Company.
We appreciate everyone who attended, shared a smile, or took a moment to converse with us. A notable moment was witnessing young children proudly donning fire helmets, taking photos, and inquiring about the roles of police and first responders. Such interactions are crucial, as they demonstrate a genuine interest in serving the public and pursuing these vital careers in the future. Community events like this are a testament to what makes our region unique, and we're thankful to be a part of it.
