Officers with the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) arrested a Summerville man on Wednesday in connection with a domestic violence incident and two separate theft-related cases.
According to police, officers responded on October 28, 2025, to a home on Eagle Pass Drive following a reported domestic assault. The victim told officers she was attempting to end her relationship with 23-year-old Corey Ahmad Salley and was trying to call an Uber when the situation escalated.
The victim alleged that Salley smashed her phone to prevent her from leaving. She also told officers that when she attempted to move her belongings to the door, Salley repeatedly carried them back upstairs in an effort to stop her from leaving.
When the victim went outside, she reported that Salley physically assaulted her. She further alleged that he attempted to pull her back into the home.
In addition to the domestic violence case, Salley is accused in two unrelated incidents. On May 5, 2025, he allegedly broke into a vehicle on Ladson Road and stole bank cards, a Social Security card, and a driver’s license. Police also say that on January 5, 2026, Salley stole merchandise while working at Sportsman’s Warehouse on Centre Pointe Drive.
Authorities arrested Salley on three warrants, including Second-Degree Domestic Violence, Breach of Trust with Property Crime Enhancement, and Grand Larceny.
He was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center.
