North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) officers and detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight in the Chicora-Cherokee community.

Shortly before 4am, officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 2100 block of Cosgrove Ave. As the initial investigation was underway, three gunshot victims were located. The victims received treatment at nearby medical facilities.

The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been taken into custody.
