North Charleston Police Department officers arrested a North Charleston man on drug and firearm charges following an investigation by the department’s Narcotics Unit.
On October 25, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., NCPD Narcotics Unit detectives responded to an apartment in the 8400 block of Dorchester Road. Prior to detectives’ arrival, members of the U.S. Marshals Service made entry into the residence and detained 31-year-old Dominique Moses Brandon Horry, who was taken to the Al Cannon Detention Center on outstanding warrants from the Charleston Police Department.
During a subsequent search of the apartment, detectives located a plastic bag containing approximately 3.5 grams of an off-white, rock-like substance believed to be cocaine base, five cellular phones, and a handgun.
As a result of the investigation, NCPD obtained additional warrants charging Horry with Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Distribute Cocaine Base (Second Offense) and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Horry surrendered to authorities on Monday, for these latest charges, and was transported to the Dorchester County Detention Center.
