On 2/27/17 at 0308 hrs, Ephrata Police responded to a hit and run vehicle accident on E. Main St at State St. in Ephrata Borough. A 25 year old female from Ephrata was crossing East Main St. in the crosswalk, and was struck by an older green pickup truck turning left from North State St. onto East Main St. The truck failed to stop and continued eastbound. The female sustained a leg injury and was transported to a hospital. The truck may have damage to the driver’s side headlight and front fender area.
