Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled incidents 191 during the week of December 14th, to the 20th , 2025. A total of 35 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
DUI Crash Investigation: Officers responded to the area of Catch Basin Road and Green Top Road for a one vehicle traffic accident involving a BMW X5 that had slid off the icy/snowy roadway and struck a large boulder. When police arrived, it was determined that the driver exhibited signs of intoxication and was asked to perform field sobriety tests. Once these tests were completed the male was taken into custody and transported to St. Lukes Grand View for a blood draw. The driver refused the blood draw and criminal charges are pending.
Fraud Investigation: Police were contacted on December 16th, 2025, by a resident of the 100 block Ridge Run Road. The resident reported that they were contacted by an unknown person by text message advising them that they had not reported for federal jury duty, and that they need to pay a fine in the amount of $4500. The payment was requested in the form of BitCoin and the resident provided the information to the person who called. Police are still investigating.
ARRESTS:
Warrant Service: A 27-year-old male resident of Quakertown was taken into custody on December 15th, 2025, following him being involved in a one vehicle traffic accident on Catch Basin Road. The male was found to have an active burglary warrant from Pennsylvania State Police Dublin, and he was taken into custody and transferred to their custody for arraignment.
Drug Arrest: A juvenile allegation was filed with Bucks County Juvenile Probation following a student being found to be in possession of a THC vape pen at the Pennridge High School.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
December 14th, 2025:
A one vehicle accident occurred on Branch Road in the area of W. Schwenkmill Road when a Toyota Pruis had slid off the roadway striking a sign along the roadway. No injuries occurred and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
Officers responded to the area of Allentown Road and Upper Rocky Dale Road for a Honda Civic that slid off the snowy roadway and struck the embankment. Minor injuries were reported and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
A hit and run crash occurred on Township Road at Carillion Road when an unknown vehicle slid off the roadway and struck a stop sign and a street sign. There was vehicle description and it is unknown if the driver of that vehicle was injured.
A minor one vehicle hit and run crash occurred on Rt. 313 and Mountainview Drive when an unknown vehicle crashed into a mailbox when it slid off the snow-covered roadway.
December 15th, 2025: A minor hit and run crash occurred in the parking lot of Pennridge High School when a Volkswagen Jetta backed into a Hyundai Elantra as it left its parking spot. No injuries and minor damage was observed.
December 16th, 2025:
Police responded to the area of Ridge Road and Schwenkmill Road for a Chevrolet Silverado that had run off the roadway and struck a utility pole along the side of the roadway. The impact knocked wires onto Ridge Road, and the roadway was closed for a period of time. The vehicle was towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.
A Hyundai Sante Fe struck a deer as it was exiting Rt. 309 southbound approaching Lawn Ave. The crash was minor and no injuries were reported.
Pennridge Regional Police responded to the 100 block of Old Mill Road for a two-vehicle traffic accident involving a GMC pickup truck and a BMW sedan that was parked along the roadway. The BMW was struck by a plow that was attached to the GMC pickup. Minor damage occurred to the BMW.
December 17th, 2025:
A Dodge Durango was traveling on Ridge Road in the area of Lawn Ave. and struck a deer as it crossed the roadway in front of it. No injuries were reported and the Durango was driven from the scene.
A two-vehicle traffic crash occurred on Lawn Ave. at the ramp for Rt. 309 southbound, when a Ford Transit van struck the rear of a Jeep Cherokee that was slowing to turn onto the ramp. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported.
Officers responded. for a Honda CRV and a Subaru Outback that were involved in a motor vehicle crash, when the Honda CRV attempted to pass a vehicle as they both were making a left onto Lawn Ave. from the Rt. 309 offramp.
December 18th, 2025:
A two-vehicle traffic accident was reported on State Road involving a Toyota Rav4 that struck a Nissan Versa as it attempted to pass another uninvolved vehicle. The Toyota struck the Nissan head on resulting in injuries to both drivers and occupants of the units. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and the driver of the Toyota was issued a citation for unsafely passing another vehicle.
A three-vehicle traffic crash occurred at the intersection of Ridge Road and Rt. 313 involving a BMW SUV, a Chevrolet Sonic and a Nissan Sentra. Upon investigation it was determined that the Chevrolet had failed to stop for the red traffic signal and struck the BMW as it entered the intersection from Ridge Road on a green signal pushing it into a Nissan that was also traveling on Ridge Road. All involved were transported to St. Lukes Grand View Hospital and all three vehicles were towed from the scene. A traffic citation was issued to the driver of the Chevrolet.
Officers responded to the 1900 block of Ridge Road for a one vehicle traffic accident, where a GMC box truck’s rear tires left the roadway and became disabled as a result. No injuries were reported but the GMC needed to be towed from the scene.
December 19th, 2025:
A Chevrolet Silverado traveling in the 200 block of Ridge Road lost its left side front tire, which then struck a Tesla sedan traveling the opposite direction. This crash resulted in minor injuries to the driver of the Tesla.
Officers responded to the area of Allentown Road and Lower Rocky Dale Road for a one vehicle traffic accident involving a Ford F250 that left the roadway and became disabled after striking a road sign. The driver admitted to falling asleep but not being injured. A traffic citation was issued to the driver.
Pennridge Regional officers responded to Ridge Road and Old Bethlehem Pike for a two-vehicle traffic crash involving a Chevrolet Suburban that turned from Old Bethlehem Pike and struck a Nissan Frontier on Ridge Road. Minor injuries were reported but both vehicle shad to be towed from the scene. A traffic citation was issued to the driver of the Suburban.
A Ford Mustang left the roadway on Ridge Road in the area of Schoolhouse Road due to traveling too fast for the wet roadway conditions. No injuries were reported but the vehicle had to be driven from the scene.
Officers responded to Branch Road and Rt. 313 for a report of a Chevrolet Malibu that struck a tree that had fallen across the roadway, resulting in the vehicle needing to be towed.
