The Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) is committed to promoting health and safety by encouraging the proper disposal of unused and expired prescription medications. Keeping opioids and other commonly misused drugs in your home can pose serious risks. It’s no longer safe or responsible to leave them in your medicine cabinet.
Join us on Saturday, April 26th, for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, a nationwide initiative led by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) aimed at preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction before it starts.
Why It Matters:
What You Can Do:
Let’s do our part: Bring your unneeded prescription drugs to a designated collection site in your community for safe, anonymous disposal.
