Columbia Borough Police Department Officer Zachary Throne grew up in Red Lion, PA.  After he graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School he attended and graduated from Ursinus College with a degree in Biology.

Prior to becoming a Columbia Borough Police Officer, Zachary worked at a small fencing company.  He also worked at Kinsley Construction during the Summer while he was in college.

Officer Throne said he has always had a small level of interest in becoming a police officer, but said his interest grew after he graduated from college. He likes that no two days are the same and that he never knows what a day will have in store for him.

Outside of work Officer Throne likes to go to the gym, enjoys keeping up with the Steelers and Notre Dame Football, and enjoys gaming on his PC.
