POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 2/7/25 THRU 2/13/25

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 2-7-25 police received a criminal mischief report that occurred 2-6-25 at Penn State Lancaster Medical Center, 2160 State Rd.  A vehicle in the parking lot between 1100 hrs and 1600 hrs was damaged by a metal object scratching the driver’s side door.  Total estimated value of loss $100.00.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 2-8-25 at 1919 hrs, police responded to Penn State Lancaster Medical Center, 2160 State Rd, for a disturbance in progress.  Following investigation, Joshua S Roeder (50) of Quakertown was cited with Public Drunkenness.  Prior to transport from the facility, Roeder was found to be in possession of several cans of Hazy Little Thing IPA beer, which were reportedly stolen from Sheetz, 2149 State Rd. Roeder was additionally charged with Retail Theft (M2) for this offense.  Total estimated value of loss $23.18.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 2-9-25 at 0829 hrs, police responded to the Route 283 West off ramp to Rohrerstown Rd for a check on the welfare.  Following investigation, William Shawn Leibley (41) of Conestoga was taken into custody, charged with Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substance-4th & Subsequent Offense (F3) and Possession of Controlled Substance (M) then transported to Lancaster County Prison.

RETAIL THEFT: On 2-10-25 Shaun D Dumond (26) and Tiara L Hess (25) both of Manheim were charged with Retail Theft (M1), stemming from an incident 1-30-25 at Sheetz, 3101 Columbia Ave.  Dumond and Hess allegedly placed stuffed animals, energy drinks and food inside bags, while using the Sheetz App to scan and pay via smart phone.  However, there was no register of the products being purchased.  Total estimated value of loss $250.55.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 2-10-25 police responded to Women & Babies Hospital, 690 Good Dr, for a theft report.  Sometime between 2-9-25 at 1900 hrs and 2-10-25 at 1400 hrs, actor(s) took the registration plate from a vehicle and (2) handgun’s from inside the vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss is unknown at this time.

HARASSMENT: On 2-11-25 Jeremy T Alston II (27) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of Swarr Run Rd on this same date.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 2-11-25 police received a vandalism report in the first block of Colonial Crest Dr.  Sometime between 1-5-25 and 2-7-25, actor(s) put a sand like substance into a vehicle’s engine oil.  Total estimated value of loss $1,300.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 2-12-25 at 0059 hrs, police responded to Sheetz, 2149 State Rd, for a retail theft that just occurred.  An employee observed a male walk out of the store with (2) 12- packs of Corona beer without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $39.98.

RETAIL THEFT: On 2-12-25 police received a retail theft report from Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill, 301 Rohrerstown Rd that occurred on 1-23-25 between 1536 hrs and 1848 hrs.  A male filled a shopping cart with multiple items and placed several additional items inside his jacket.  The male left the building without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $526.62.

RETAIL THEFT: On 2-13-25 police responded to Sheetz, 2149 State Rd, for a retail theft that occurred 2-12-25. (2) males entered the beer cooler and removed (5) cases of Modelo beer, (1) case of Corona beer, (1) case of Coke and (1) case of Sprite then leaving the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $150.00.
