Wyomissing Police Department Arrests Sinking Spring Man in Connection with second offense of Juvenile Grooming and Sexual Assault Investigation
Wyomissing, PA – January 9, 2025 – The Wyomissing Police Department along with Homeland Security Investigations has filed additional charges against Steven P. Najarian, a resident of Sinking Spring, after an investigation revealed that he had groomed a second juvenile female to engage in sexual encounters. The investigation led authorities to discover that these incidents occurred while Najarian was operating a novelty store located at the Berkshire Mall, 1665 State Hill Road in Wyomissing.
Najarian, whose actions have led to serious felony charges, was arrested on January 7, 2025. The charges in this second case include:
Trafficking in Individuals
Rape
Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse
Indecent Assault
Corruption of Minors
Intimidation, Retaliation or Obstruction in Child Abuse Cases.
Detectives believe that there may still be other victims and are urging anyone with information related to the case to come forward.
