PECO Utility Improvement to Close Route 252 (Providence Road)
Monday, January 6, 2025, through Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 252 (Providence Road) will be closed and detoured on weekdays between Worrall Street and Locust Lane. During the closure, passenger vehicles will be directed to use Baltimore Avenue, Manchester Avenue, and Wallingford Avenue. Large trucks will be directed to use Baltimore Avenue/BaltimorePike, and Route 320 (Cedar Lane/Swarthmore Avenue/Chester Road).  
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
