PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS ARRESTS AND OTHERS

FELIX E. ALVARADO, AGE 46 AND MARVIN ALLEN BENNETT, JR., AGE 57, BOTH OF LEOLA, WERE CITED FOR PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, IN THE AREA OF 500 & 600 BLOCK OF LOCUST STREET, 20 AUGUST 2016.  THEY BOTH SAID THEY WERE TRYING TO FIND THEIR VEHICLE.  THEY WERE TAKEN BACK TO THE STATION, ISSUED CITATIONS AND A CAB WAS CALLED TO TRANSPORT THEM TO LEOLA.

KENYETTA MCILWAIN-TORRES, AGE 39, OF COLUMBIA, WAS CITED FOR DRIVING WHILE OPERATING PRIVILEGE IS SUSPENDED OR REVOKED, (D.U.I. RELATED);  NOTICE OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS;  AND CARELESS DRIVING, AFTER STRIKING A LEGALLY PARKED VAN, HEAD ON, IN THE 300 BLOCK OW MAPLE STREET, 19 AUGUST 2016.  BOTH VEHICLES HAD TO BE TOWED FROM THE SCENE. 

MARIA KYRIAKI SCHWARZ, AGE 21, OF COLUMBIA, WAS CITED FOR OPERATION OF VEHICLE WITHOUT OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION, IN THE 400 BLOCK OF CHERRY STREET, 18 AUGUST 2016.

RYAN A. KIRCHNER, AGE 35, OF LANCASTER, WAS CITED FOR FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY, IN THE 1100 BLOCK OF LANCASTER AVENUE, 20 AUGUST 2016.

CHARLES DOUGLAS MILBURN, III, AGE 26, OF LANCASTER, WAS CITED FOR PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, IN THE 600 BLOCK OF SOUTH 10TH. STREET, 09 AUGUST 2016.

EDWIN EUGENE BOYER, AGE 34, OF COLUMBIA, WAS CHARGED WITH SIMPLE ASSAULT AND WITH HARASSMENT, AFTER AN INCIDENT AT HIS RESIDENCE, WHERE HE REPORTEDLY STRUCK A 16 YEAR OLD MALE THAT WAS TRYING TO INTERVINE IN A DOMESTIC AT THE HOME, 19 AUGUST 2016.

URIAH ALEX JOHNSON, AGE 26, OF COLUMBIA, WAS CHARGED WITH THEFT FROM VEHICLES, AFTER HE WAS CAUGHT GOING THROUGH SOME PARKED VEHICLES, IN THE 400 BLOCK OF UNION STREET, 28 JULY 2016.  WHEN HE WAS CAUGHT, POLICE FOUND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA ON  HIM, SO HE WAS ALSO CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, ON 19 AUGUST 2016.

BRANDON RICHARD KELLANDER, AGE 23, OF EPHRATA, WAS CHARGED WITH THE FOLLOWING;  DISREGARD TRAFFIC LANE (SINGLE);  D.U.I., GENERAL IMPAIRMENT;  D.U.I.WITH HIGH RATE OF ALCOHOL;  DRIVING WHILE OPERATING PRIVILEGE IS SUSPENDED OR REVOKED;  AND REQUIRED FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, IN THEL 1400 BLOCK OF LANCASTER AVENUE, 21 AUGUST 2016.

MICHELLE LEEANN HAKE, AGE 40, OF COLUMBIA, WAS CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA AND WITH PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, IN THE FIRST BLOCK OF SOUTH 2ND. STREET. 

POLICE RECEIVED A REPORT FROM THE COLUMBIA MART, 890 LANCASTER AVENUE, THAT A MALE STOLE A POWER ROLL CIGARETTE ROLLER FROM THEIR STORE.  THE ROLLER WAS VALUED AT APPROX. $80.00.

CHELSEA MARIE BARTON, AGE 21, OF COLUMBIA, WAS CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA AND FOR PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, AFTER SHE WAS FOUND LAYING ON THE PAVEMENT IN THE 600 BLOCK OF UNION STREET.  CHARGES WERE FILED 22 AUGUST 2016.

HOWARD DAVID MUSSER, AGE42, OF COLUMBIA, WAS CHARGED, 22 AUGUST 2016, WITH STALKING/INTENT TO CAUSE EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, 22 AUGUST 2016, AFTER SENDING APPROXIMATELY THREE-HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FIVE TEXT MESSAGES TO HIS EX-WIFE.
