On Saturday, August 10, 2024, at approximately 1314 hours, Bloomsburg Police were dispatched to Up In Smoke located at 56 E. Main Street reference to criminal mischief where the actor also pulled a knife. 

The actor ran into the store kicked over a display case and then fled. The store clerk chased after the male subject. Police were advised that once outside the male subject (later identified as Elijah Joyner) pulled a knife and stated “come on”. The actor then fled the area. The actor was described as a black male subject wearing a red shirt.

Police were advised by the store owner, that the male damaged a display case valued at approximately $700.00, and the damaged merchandise is valued at approximately $500.00. 

Police observed a male matching said description, running South on Market Street at W. 8th Street. The male was subsequently taken into custody.

Joyner was arraigned in front of Judge Lawton for terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief.  Joyner was committed to Columbia County Prison with $10,000.00 bail.
