DeLand police officers and Volusia County deputies worked together to arrest two subjects following a rash of vehicle and residential burglaries on DeLand’s north end.
Brandon Larry (04/07/2002), from Orlando, and Day’Arean Lynum (10/23/2001), from Leesburg, were arrested Friday (7/19/24) after two successful tire deflation device deployments, assistance from Air1 and K-9 Zoie that tracked them into the woods.
The investigation revealed the subjects were targeting unlocked vehicles, finding garage door openers, and entering garages or houses to steal additional items. Detectives recovered stolen property from South Florida to Volusia County.

Larry and Lynum are currently being held on no bond at the Volusia County Branch Jail.

Burglary of an occupied structure
Possession firearm by convicted in state felon

Lynum was booked on the following charges:
