INCIDENTS
DUI Investigation: On February 5th 2024 Pennridge Regional Officers were dispatched to the are of Bethlehem Pike and Forrest Road for a report of a hit and run accident. Upon investigation officers found that the operator of the vehicle claiming to be struck had ran off the roadway causing damage to their vehicle. During the course of the investigation the operator was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken for a blood draw. Charges to be filed pending the result of the blood test results.
Suspicious Activity: On February 5th 2024 officers spoke to a resident that resides in the 3000 block of Rich Hill Road for a report of a suspicious activity on their property. Numerous vehicles were observed on his property following review of surveillance cameras. This is part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
Theft: On February 6th 2024 a resident living in the 1000 block of Cedar Meadow Lane reported that a trail camera was removed from a tree on their property. It is believed to be an ongoing neighbor dispute and the victim did not wish to proceed with an investigation. Total lost was reported at approximately $35.
Disturbance: Pennridge Regional Police were dispatched to a home in the 700 block of Allentown Road for a report of a disturbance at the home. Upon arrival the home was found to be quiet and the occupants were not cooperating with police. No signs of a disturbance were seen.
Disorderly Person: On February 8th 2024 officers responded to the intersection of State Road and Rt. 309 for a report of a male who was yelling at vehicles and jumping into traffic. Upon arrival the male was found to be in need of a ride following an argument with staff at Penn Foundation The male was given a ride to a nearby train station.
Trespassing: Pennridge Regional Police are investigating a trespassing incident that occurred sometime on or around February 8th 2024 in the 3000 block of Rich Hill Road. A gray vehicle is seen on video on the property. Investigation is ongoing.
Assault: On February 10th 2024 officers responded to the parking lot of The Horse for a report of a female who was assault by three other females. A disagreement ensued following a road rage incident that occurred in Montgomery County. The female victim stopped in the parking lot of The Horse where an argument occurred resulting in a bucket of concrete being thrown through the window of the victim’s window striking her. The actors fled in a small SUV. Investigation is ongoing.
ARRESTS INCIDENTS
Theft Arrest: Carlos Zenteno Grajales, 53 of Allentown, was charged with numerous counts of theft following a criminal investigation following a report of a theft at Trevdan Building Supply. Mr. Zenteno Grajales allegedly uses a stolen credit card to make a nearly $10,000 purchase of building supplies. An arrest warrant has been issued for the charges of Theft by Unlawful Taking, Theft by Deception, Receiving Stolen Property, Access Device Fraud and charges of conspiracy to commit the listed offenses.
Burglary/Trespassing Arrest: Donald Haberle, 43 of Telford, was charged following a criminal investigation originating on January 8th 2024 where he allegedly entered a structure located in the 3000 block of Rich Hill Road. An arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Haberle for the charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Theft of Metals.
Burglary/Trespassing Arrest: Denise Dearden, 58 of West Rockhill, was charged following a criminal investigation originating on January 8th 2024 where she allegedly entered a structure located in the 3000 block of Rich Hill Road. An arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Haberle for the charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Theft of Metals.
DUI Arrest: Julie Ann Moyer, 53 of Bethlehem, has been charged with three counts of Driving Under the Influence following a motor vehicle crash that occurred on January 5th 2024. Ms. Moyer blood alcohol concentration was 0.16%.
Drug Arrest: A juvenile allegation was filed against a student of the Pennridge High School on February 8th 2024, following the student being found on school property in possession of a THC vaping device.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
February 4th 2024: Officers responded to State Road and Detweiler Road for a report of a two vehicle crash. Upon arrival and investigation it was determined that a Honda Accord struck a Ram 1500 as it attempted to make a turn at Detweiler Road. Minor injuries were reported.
February 6th 2024: Officers responded to Rt. 313 and Buck Run Road for a report of a two vehicle crash where a Nissan and Chevrolet collided as a vehicle in front of the Chevrolet abruptly stopped and then the Nissan ran into the back of the it. No injuries were reported.
February 9th 2024: Officers responded to the area of Mountain View Drive and Park Road for a report of a Dodge Caravan that hit a tire that left on the roadway. No injuries were reported.
