*UPDATE*

An exhaustive search of the premises at Shanks Extracts - 350 Richardson Dr. by police, and deputies of the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office - Canine Explosives Unit, revealed no explosive device or any other potential hazard to the public. Normal business and traffic in the area has resumed. The incident is still being actively investigated. No further comment will be made so as to not jeopardize the integrity of the criminal investigation. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, other emergency agencies, and surrounding businesses for their cooperation and assistance. Additionally, a huge shout out to Leisure Lanes - 3440 Columbia Ave. for graciously allowing emergency personnel, and affected employees of the business(es) who were evacuated, to convene at their venue for the duration of the event.
