POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 12/8/23 THRU 12/14/23

HARASSMENT: On 12-8-23 at 1516 hrs, police responded to the first block of Duo Dr for a disturbance.  Following investigation, Iris Davila (42) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S).

PA DOG LAW VIOLATION: On 12-8-23 Amanda Shenk (30) of East Earl was cited with Confined Within Premises of Owner (S) and Vaccination against Rabies Required (S), stemming from an incident 10-26-23 in the 3300 block of Columbia Ave.  Shenk’s dog was running loose and allegedly bit an individual.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 12-9-23 police responded to Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd, for a theft from vehicle report.  Sometime between 1930 hrs and 2044 hrs, actor(s) broke the front passenger side window of a vehicle in the parking lot and removed (3) backpacks from the trunk, which contained a Chromebook laptop computer and cash.  Total estimated value of loss $2,350.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 12-9-23 at 1422 hrs, police responded to the Dollar General, 1805 Columbia Ave, for a retail theft that just occurred.  Following investigation, Enjoli C Brantley (33) of Lancaster was charged with Retail Theft (M2).  Brantley allegedly went through the self-checkout line with a cart full of items, but only scanned and paid for 1 item.  Total estimated value of loss $117.98.

THEFT: On 12-9-23 police responded to Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd, for a theft report.  Sometime between 1200 hrs and 1316 hrs, actor(S) removed a pair of Adidas Yeezy slides from a bag that was courtside during a basketball game.  Total estimated value of loss $150.00.

ROBBERY: On 12-11-23 Jaquann Sion Black (31) and Tyron Thomas Johnson (26) both of Baltimore, MD were charged with Robbery (F3), Conspiracy to Commit Robbery (F3) and Retail Theft (F3), stemming from an incident 9-7-23 at BJ’s Wholesale Club, 110 Centerville Rd.  Black and Johnson allegedly took (2) large screen TVs with an estimated total value of $2,879.98.  Warrants were issued for their arrest and they are currently in custody in Maryland awaiting extradition.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: On 12-11-23 a 13-year-old male student of Columbia was charged with Aggravated Assault (F1), stemming from an incident 11-30-23 at Centerville Middle School, 865 Centerville Rd.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: On 12-11-23 police responded to River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir, for a disturbance.  Following investigation, a 16-year-old female student of Strasburg was charged with Aggravated Assault (F2) and Institutional Vandalism (M2).

THEFT BY DECEPTION: On 12-12-23 Angel I Ruiz (31) of Lancaster was charged with (2) counts of Theft by Deception (F3), stemming from incidents that occurred 10-2-23 through 10-17-23 at Sheetz, 2149 State Rd.  Ruiz allegedly transferred multiple cash transactions to his Chime App and his Cash App for a total estimated value of $9,059.40.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 12-13-23 police responded to the 3100 block of Bowman Rd for a domestic not in progress.  Following investigation, a 16-year-old male of Lancaster was charged with Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2).

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: On 12-13-23 police responded to Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd, for an abandoned vehicle.  The vehicle was found to be stolen from Shillington, PA and the Shillington Police Department was notified.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 12-13-23 a 15-year-old female student and a 16-year-old female student, both of Columbia, were charged with Simple Assault (M2) and Harassment (S), stemming from an incident on a school bus on 12-1-23 in front of Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.
