On 14 June 2023, an Officer with the Quarryville Police Department responded to Goods Store, 333 West Fourth Street Quarryville, PA 17566 for a retail theft. The Officer discovered that on 10 June 2023, David Verille, of Peach Bottom, worked together with his mother, Deborah Ann Verille, also of Peach Bottom, to steal a pair of sneakers. David was caught on video removing the sneakers from the shoe box and putting them in Deborah's purse before they both left the store without paying for the sneakers. Both David and Deborah Verille were charged by the Officer with retail theft and criminal conspiracy. Said charges were filed at District Court 02-3-04.
